That request was manually made, not sniffed from the client. His point is that MSNP16 is active on the servers, but the client is still using MSNP15

k the authentication theme is definitely different from P15 and earlier versions , when trying to login using SSO it returns:
error number 932 which isn't found on the piki for known reasons lol :P i'll have to wait for the official client then ...

MSNP16 uses same authentication system as MSNP15...just in MSPAuth it adds new field MachineGuid....
it is stored in registry at
"HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1960408961-688789844-682003330-1003\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger\MachineGuid"

"MSNP16 resp" = "MSNP16 resp" + " {MachineGuid}"

You can probably just generate a GUID and use it as long as you continue using the same one.

Does it matter if its hardcoded into the source. Or does it need to be different for each time you login?

technically MachineGuid should remain same for device everytime u log in......
so you should not hardcode it .... as 2 machines with same MachineGuid might create issues ;) if you run same program on thm
