I'd decided to make a program to recover your passwords for the current build of Windows Live Messenger. You must input the email address you wish to get your password back. So it wont give out anyone else's.
I plan to create more versions of this as time goes on for people that genuinely forget their passwords. It's a very simple way of getting your credentials so you don't need to be a genius to understand how it works. Also, be assured that this is 100% free of advertising, spyware/malware or harvest passwords. If theres a version out that does this, then it isn't mine. So be sure to download from here and no where else.

Feedback, issues, problems can be reported here. Please leave detailed information etc.

This can be used as harvest, but you don't harvest. I can install it on my friends computer and I know his address. When I'm visiting him again, I can check his password.

it is you who is abusing it, so it is your fault not Doggie's... I believe Doggie is trying to take Messenger's team attention so they fix this problem as well...

Thank you Dody. Yes, the purpose of this program is to retrieve your forgotten passwords on your own computer. If people choose to use it inappropriately then thats unfortunate and sad. Please do not use it as you have just did.

Nope, only applies to Remember My Password users.

As far as I'm aware, just the current input password saved.

I'm pretty sure now it won't work due to recent updates to Windows Live Messenger. I might have a go at updating it to work with the latest version. But don't hold your breathe.

After a bit of an absence, I’ve rewrote my Windows Live Messenger Password Recovery program. I think it’s much easier and looks simpler. As usual, I’d like to take the time to say to people that;
# It’s not a password harvester
# I do not condone stealing of passwords
# Legitimately made for people that forget their password(s)
# Easily accessable if you know where they are, something Microsoft should fix
# No, I won’t show you how I get them due to misuse issues
# If your account was stolen with the use of this program, it's not my problem.

How to use:
Attached File  screenshot.png (17.67K)
Number of downloads: 128
1. Enter your email address
2. Click "Check".
3. Results, as simple as that!
