Sorry The Dawg :(, i wasn't spamming or advertising, i saw someone ask for links to get older versions of msn so i thought i'd try to help, but was unable to find anything above v6.2
if it's ok and on topic, i will post a link to msn 7.0 if i ever do run across it in the future....

messenger doesn't work, i've tried to fix the possible problems but no way, i'ts impossible.
but i think the real problem is the security certificate. i'm afraid it's out-of-date. the problem is.. i have no idea how to fix it. °_°

Hi,
I've had the same problem.. I've tried all previously stated solutions but without any sucess.
Then I stumble upon a fix that worked for me.
My problem seems to be with IE6. For some reason IE SSL connection doesn't seem to be working despite SSL2 and SSL3 are checked.
solution: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced >
Checked Use TLS 1.0
